The following topic was requested by death_unites_us and like I said, I would do most topics if not retarded and if it involves a game or other form of entertainment.
It is true, death is better at Blur than I am. I mean, I only played him one on one once when I just rented it and had to play with a car that went slower than an elderly woman in a wheel chair with a missing wheel, but I am royal, and took it all in stride.
As for the game itself, it gets pretty straight forward and tells you that you have to complete little challenges, and if you complete them all, you can face the areas local douchebag. Now, don't get me wrong, I like the fact that they have their own little personality and type of challenges, but is it not fair to ask for someone who lets you choose the damn stipulations, I mean, no matter how many times I try to barge that damn Beetle into the water, I CAN'T DO IT...
I'm getting ahead of myself here.
As the game progressed, the challenges got more and more difficult to accomplish, which seems pretty standard, but personally, it began to draw my attention away from it.
Then, of course, I found the good stuff, good ol' fashion hookers. They then told me about multiplayer. As I began to slowly get back in bed with the aforementioned hookers, they told me to continue this topic, and stay on topic, so the Bow Chika Wow Wow will have to wait. *wink*
Now, multiplayer, in essence, is a second career mode. Cars are unlocked less rapidly and within ranks. There are a total of 50 ranks, and if given enough time in the day you can easily go up 5 ranks (once you hit the 10 mark) within an hour or so, near the 30s and up, it would get a little more strenuous. Once you have your favorite ride, mine being the Camaro, you can try and test out your skills. When you play the default multiplayer game mode, you are allowed to use certain power-ups on the field of play. Many are reminiscent of Mario Kart as in the "Shunt" is much like Mario Kart's "Red Shells". Only difference is if your name happens to be MADMikeTheKing and you were pushed down to second-to-last place, the person in last loves to pelt you with these and happens to have a collection of these "King Seekers".
Aside all the crap I go through on a daily basis, the game can be pretty fun and very addicting. I suggest playing with 2 or more friends to give it an extra feel of competition and joy because we all hate that silent guy who loves to attack your car, and when you attack his, he just so luckily happens to have a shield...ass
A little side note, I do not like the paint job system in the game, given the fact you can't add your own design to your cars, much like Need for Speed and other games with that focused detail, but it's cool to win first place with your car, and unlocking a new type of paint, which you all know I wasn't gonna pass up painting my car Metallic Yellow and saying to yourself, "Your car is gold. 4get the h8rs."
All in all, I want a rematch, sucka.
