How do you stay awake in class?

This semester I have some tough classes and an okay amount of homework, but when it comes to actually sitting in class it's nearly unbearable. My Programming teacher talks like a diseased robot, my English teach is evil, my social problems teacher talks about nothing important and my math teacher never stops talking.

So my random question of the day is: do you have any techniques for staying awake in class?

The best technique I've found is to stay active and ask/answer questions, but my teachers this semester never stop talking and never ask questions.

Honestly in RME (religious moral education) i get into trouble because i ask questions that my teacher cant answer, seriously.

Oh and if you have a fit teacher that keeps ya up, does for me anyway
Like you said, trying hard and focusing works well.
Another option would be too drink loads of energy drinks or coffee

I think about someone raping me while I'm asleep.

Keeps me motivated.

doodle, think about random bs, and stare at someone until they notice.

I keep my hand raised, hoping for a chance to go to the bathroom but instead walk around the halls for a bit. When I come back I usually stay awake. Whatever I miss I e-mail anyone I know or should know.

Simple answer: I don't

Punch a friend randomly thats what I do the they punch you back and then it goes on for a min then teacher will tell you off then you'll be less tired.

How about sleeping BEFORE school? I mean its a classic. But it works.

It does happened to me a few years back, lol... not anymore though! I actually sneaked out my house one night and then never touched them since, dont reccomend anyone here to even try them because their addicting as *censored*.
