MW3 : 10? prestiges, challenges, gun unlocks
BF3: Over 100 hours per class ammounting to 400 hours to just complete all the kits, 400 hours to hit max level. If you need over 800 hours then well get something else.

Engine

MW3: The same engine in use since Call of Duty 2, Dont tell me that battlefield or any other game is the same since they build upon they're engines, if thats the case then we're all using the unreal and quake engines for most games we play. Breakable glass, 60fps on outdated hardware.

BF3: Frostbite 2.0 Enhanced dynamic lighting, destruction 3.0, Cinematic image quality, massive scale, enhanced characted animation, Immersive audio and atmosphere.

Graphics

Single Player

MW3: You're the gods of the army, nothing interesting happens story is relatively boring and there is no epic moments.

BF3: You're not the only person in this fight, you're a squad doing you're duty in a real life scenario which gives the most realistic FPS experience i've seen. You feel like a part of the squad just watching the video and you dont just feel like a walking gun. cough legs cough

Community

MW3: Quickscopers, Trickshotters, everyone has a HD PVR now, More immature twats, racists with BNP clan tags, and alot of IMMATURE people/kids

BF3: Trolls who deem everything CoD terrible but on the whole more mature, team players. Alot of bush wookies though.

MW3: The amazing Robert Bowling. Infinity wards amazing past community support. Inbalanced glitches, weapons unfixed. failed the pc community.

BF3: DICES past support. Patching Unbalanced weapons fixing bugs/glitches OPEN BETA for all players to report unbalanced weapons/glitches for retail

If Battlefield was such a good game, it wouldn't need a fanboy like yourself, who also played a crapload of CoD to defend it. My only opinion is say what you want about both games but neither of them are on shelves yet.
