| I liked it There was a good amount of story with it, though it was rather sappy at a few points, which I really don't mind. The sprites aren't really sprites anymore, they're actual 3D models that are animated There's a moderate amount of customization for your character, you can change the hair and the outfit, and there are quite a few combos you can make They revamped the trading system a bit, it's more easily accessed. Wonder Trade is a beautiful thing if you're lucky The new Friend Safari is cool, the more friends you've got the more Pokemon become available The Elite 4/Champion were a lot harder for me than in previous generations, mainly because I can't really have my frontman solo it. The Pokedex is a bit wonky compared to previous generations, because they split it into sections around the region Catching Pokemon actually gives EXP now, which is wondrous The Legendaries are a bit too easy to catch, though.
Overall, I give it an 8/10, mainly because of the Pokebank not being here until December.

| I often wonder if I should get back into Pokemon or not. I always enjoyed it, but I love going back to my old red version and playing it, and I guess I shouldn't fix what's not broken. Still, It'd be cool to try one of these brand new fresh off the shelf Pokemanz. | |

| Dude, if you've had thoughts about it, then now's the time. Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite pokemon games so far.
Question, though; what was the last/newest pokemon game you played?

| Crystal was the last one I owned, but I didn't really play it that much. I was a fan of gold and silver, so I know the 2nd gen pretty well, but that's as far as it goes. | |

Ah, so you're missing out then. At least I think. Emerald (RSE) was my favorite though.

| Hey, I liked Unova. Unova was pretty good. In my opinion, Sinnoh is where they messed up. | |

| Haha, yeah I meant it as more of a joke. I've never really played the gen v games. But I liked gen iv quite a bit. | |

Besides, Grimer/Muk "Grimer is a slimy, amorphous blob-like Pokémon, made of living purple sludge" "Garbodor has the appearance of a pile of trash spilling out of a large, torn garbage bag. It has a round, lumpy body that is mostly tan with blue and pink lumps" It's like comparing teenage mutant ninja turtles with glad forceflex.
