Shame I couldn't find the full scene because the tension built is insane. Nonetheless, De Niro and Walken are sublime here.

Fuckin' love this movie, fuckin' love this scene. Probably one of my favorite movies of all time if I'm completely honest.

I have yet to watch it, but it is my best friends favorite movie so I told him we'd sit down and watch it sometime.

You really don't get the effect without watching the entire movie, but if I had to pick my favorite scene of all time, this would be it. I'm not going to say anything else about it other than the fact that I personalize with it an immense amount, which is why it is my favorite and not for sure the best, but I'll just let it speak for itself.

Dammit, death, I did not ask for these tears.
Personally, this is my favorite. But like you said, for me its more of a "I personalize with it" thing.
It makes me get all teary eyed every time I see it though, which I'm totally fine with.
(SPOILERS, btw)

My favorite scene from that movie.
But it's hard to pick because that entire movie is a masterpiece.

Yupp.
It was bitter sweet for me. I think I need to see it again before I really judge it. I will say for having to follow in Monsters Inc. footsteps, I think they did a great job. The best thing about the movie is all of the forshadowing effects they did. I mean, I figured some things would be explained, but they went completely overboard. They explained the setup for almost everything in the first movie. The even explained how the Yeti got banished, which was pretty great. The only thing bad about that is the fact that 50% of the jokes fall on deaf ears if you haven't seen the first movie.

Yeeeah, I'm ok with that though. I mean, I don't think most people who went to see MU hadn't seen Monsters Inc. Plus it made me really happy with all the foreshadowing. I'm probably just a tad bit biased though.

Since the last couple posts have been about animated film scenes, I might as well bring in one of my favorite animated scenes from the movie, Rise of the Guardians. I cannot help but smirk at some of the moments in this scene to be extremely honest.

This movie made our childhood heroes into badasses, and I loved it. And its theme is childhood memories, and I think that's something that we can all relate to. Overall a pretty good movie.
