Look at this, an actual serious post!
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you guys about this before I go ahead and announce it in a video. As you guys probably know, Mike and I have never made any money on the near 1,800 videos we have made. We wanted 4-8Productions to be more of a service to you guys rather than a paycheck for us. You guys have generously donated some money to us, which was mostly used for the charity event we did back in 2013. But other than that, we haven't made any money, and we are perfectly okay with that.
However, 4-8Productions is beginning to take a lot of our time. For a while Mike's Madden as well as cod thursdays and gta thursdays were becoming pretty popular and draining a lot of his time, and my Final Fantasy tutorials are beginning to take off. We are very blessed to have this type of popularity on our videos, but at the same time 4-8Productions is beginning to turn into something that we can't only dedicate a few hours of out time to. It's becoming a job for us, a job that we aren't paid for.
So, simply put, if we don't start making money from our videos, we are going to have to let a lot of fans down by slowing down on our content, and we don't want to do that. So, after some research we decided that the best solution was to set up a patreon page. With Patreon you can donate a very small (or large if you want) amount of money to us monthly. We think that this is ideal because we know that a lot of you guys have donated before and we didn't want to ask for large sums of money. With Patreon you could pledge just $1, or even just a quarter to our cause. In addition there's plenty of awards and donation incentives we have set that you can aim for.
I don't expect all of you that are still around to donate because you have already donated to us before, but if you want to see 4-8Productions continue to grow, this is how you can help.
Thanks guys, from Mike and I both.

I don't care because I have something far more important to care about now. I have you, and you are everything I'll ever need and ever wanted. So, we'll leave that all behind, we'll make our own destiny, together, and then, we'll soar.
