Subject: Buying a gaming PC Fri Jan 29, 2010 3:15 pm
Willing to spend 700 pound which is about 1300 dollars. dont have a clue what to buy :/.

You can buy my dinosaur for 10 bucks. It still runs DOS, LOL.
All I can say is GET A LAPTOP

Idk actually. I guess it depends on how much you game. My laptop seems to run any game perfectly, but I haven't played THAT many games on it. I haven't tried like CoD or anything.

yes i was about to say that if you want to hardcore game, buy alienware. it's the ONLY (next to the overload tosh thing) PC/Laptop that runs as smooth as a PS3

So, I'm going to assume that you are in the UK. I'm not sure if Craigslist is in the UK, but if it is, you should go check it out first
I would suggest that you make a computer to your liking. I would suggest an Intel Core i7 processor with an NVIDIA GeFroce 9600 GT graphics card. If you're lost, Google the i7 and the GeFroce.
If you want to take the easy way out, I would suggest that you buy a Sony VAIO or an Asus laptop.

watever you do DO NOT TAKE ATI readeon . take NAY Nvidia.
oh and the Vaio is no good.*. i got one.
and the asus is not good either (got one as well) but asus drivers are a win.
