| Basically, say u wanted a mw2 map pack and ur friend says il gameshare it with u, it means u get ther psn, username and password, u go on their account and download the maps for free on ur playsation. | |

| ok I'm gonna shed some light on the subject. just because I know everything there is to know about it.. First off.. game sharing is sharing of ANY content from someones PSN account. second off. I am extremely lucky. because Sony, if they catch you doing it, they WILL IP ban you and your ps3 basicly becomes a paperweight. And I got over 60 games doing this... not just DLC.. full GAMES. Luckily, I didnt get caught. but to do this you must have a user account free in your ps3. you can have up to 16 so you should be good. basicly. you create a new user. log into the PSN using THEIR account information. go into the store and download everything they bought. this can only be done on 5 other machines than the original account holders PS3. because you have to "activate" their account. which can only be done 5 times. but that's basicly the gist of it. long story short.. if you get away with it.. yay. if you can actually find people that trust you... yay. - actually.. DONT give out your account info to someone unless you can be at their house while they do it. because many accounts are stolen doing this. they buy EVERYTHING in the store and charge it to your credit card, another reason sony doesn't want people doing this. lol. If they catch you, that is. Which is unlikely, but still possible. Yes, gamesharing is technically stealing from Sony, if you didn't gather that from the obviousness of getting paid things for free. | |
