K, might be a silly question to you PVR users. I assume if your television has "HD Ready" on the bottom right corner A PVR can be connected and used on it? Or does it have be to be 1080p? And will I have to buy a HDMI cable or a component cable. Please help guys, i think it's time i got a pvr (Theatre quality sucks)

Ok if it say HD READY on the TV its HD (dosn't really matter if 720 or 1080) and if you want to get a HD PVR you will need component cables.

Well if you play in 1080p using HDMI cable i'd be certain you're TV can handle 1080i or 720p as long as it has a component input which should something like this
It doesnt to look exactly like that obviously but it just needs those coloured circles the green red and blue for video and a red and white for sound.
