2012

So, does anyone else feel like 2012 was such a short year? I know I do. At least I do until I really put it into perspective, and realize how big of a year it was, and I start to think; Damn, 2012 was actually chock full of things


You know;

Kony 2012

SOPA (Kinda, sorta)

PIPA (Another kinda, sorta)

Curiosity Rover

Red Bull Stratos

Hurricane Sandy

Whitney Houston died

Neil Armstrong died

Kim Jong-un was elected

Gangnam Style hit 1,000,000,000

The Wii-U was released

-- and a ton more (for sure)



(also, I joined the forums.... Holy smokes, Batman. I've been here for a year.)



But we've already begun the year with some crazy shit (The pope (Benedict XVI) resigning) and THQ shutting down.




I just wanna say, though, now I feel like time really did fly by. For example, OBL was killed nearly 2 years ago. Holy hell.

Michael Jackson died around 4 years ago.

And CoD 4 came out a little over 4 years ago...

I think the year went fast for you because you are a high school student. Trust me, seize the day, it's all down hill from here, lol.

But 2012 was a pretty packed year though, for me personally as well (engagement, more than halfway through college, changed majors, started the 1 video a day schedule on the site)

Yeah, there's a lot to reflect on. And a lot to look forward to. I'm telling you, 2013 is a year of self advancement, a year of self exploration! Big things are coming this year, for everybody, I can feel it.

Son of a... I told myself I had to put the end of the world in there, but I just completely forgot.

But yeah, that's probably it, honestly. Which isn't such a bad thing. I'm really kinda looking forward to college. It'll be a new place, y'know? Make new friends for the first time in god knows how long.

Those are some major things, though. And I feel exactly the same, 2013 should be an amazing year. Hopefully you're spot on with why!


It's just kinda crazy, it feels like not too long ago I was some crazy 13 year old, playing CoD 4 with an entirely different group of people. (Not to mention, my hair was long... Long and curly. It didn't look too good, lol.)
