Elder Scrolls MMO next year.

I think it won't be as good as WoW or GW2, which will be the leading MMOs, given the success of the GW2 beta and the upcoming Mists expansion on WoW.

also, i don't think it's made my beth. so, yeah, it's a well known title, i hope it comes up to it's expectations and doesn't become the new LOTRO.

Honestly, I think Bethesda is making a mistake trying to go into MMOs. Especially since they recently won the rights to Fallout Online which I know will end up being their next MMO. I think they're better off making game like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout and should focus more on that and improving it given it isn't 100% flawless.

I feel as though they're just going into the MMO business just because it seems to be something that's been getting more attention, but will probably end up flopping harder than Bioware's Stars Wars MMO.

Just my opinion, but I don't see it doing too well or making it that far. I'd love to be wrong, but regardless, I haven't been into many MMOs. I do plan on playing Guild Wars 2, but that's another topic.

I agree with Mike. But we'll just have to wait to see how it turns out.

I just wish they would make a *censored* co-op for their games instead of an MMO. I mean, come on! 2 - 4 player Elder Scrolls / Fallout. That would be amazing!

While I think the idea is fantastic, their engines can't handle it, at least not now. Skyrim's upgraded engine showed improvements from past, but it gets pretty buggy. Maybe one day. lol

Well, if people can do it with mods, why cant they? And I never said it would have to be perfect. Hell even if its just a 2 player with your friend type of deal it would be cool.

there is already a skyrim online. i've tried it yesterday, and what they;ve done so far has blown me away. it's a really good job.

However, i doubt that the TES mmo will be anything like tes 3, 4 or 5in terms of gameplay
